I am still not over the Holidays

It has taken me forever to update our blog, I know. I feel like I am still trying to recuperate from all of the Holiday festivities. We had a great Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with my extended family, Did our own Christmas morning at home, and then drove back down to do Christmas day with my family again. It was way too much time in the car, but it was nice to spend time with family. Saylor was afraid of Santa Clause and refused to get anywhere near him. She was however, a big fan of all the presents. In fact just yesterday she asked if there were any presents for her to open! Here is a picture of Snow and I Christmas morning. Notice the bags and dark shadows under our eyes. That is because it takes a really long time to put together kid toys!!!! Santa chose a talking baby doll for Saylor that she could care for with her new cradle, high chair and stroller. She thought these toys were great until she opened her stocking and found a 99 cent farm, which is her new favorite toy--now it is bye bye doggie (see November post) hello cow, horse, sheep, pigs, chickens, geese, lamb, dog, cat, mountain, fence, and trees--yes, I now have a few extra pieces to try to keep up with. Here is a picture of Snow & Saylor in a cute Santa dress that Grandma Slade got Saylor. I dare you to find a cuter Daddy/Daughter pair.
I hope all of your Christmas's were as Merry as ours.
