The rest of our Summer

I can't believe how I have been slacking on my posting. I promised myself I would update the blog once a week and you can see how that went. Oh well, chalk it up to being a new mom of two. We spent a pretty quiet Fourth of July at home. Snow got some fireworks to do with Saylor and surprisingly, she wasn't afraid of the sparklers. We also made some s'mores using our grill. This is how my precious two-week-old little boy looked.

I got brave enough to bring Sawyer to church (covered in his car seat with a take-a-peek-if-you-dare look on my face) and this is a family pic of us.

This big bow on my shirt came in handy since my milk leaked through my nursing pads and left two huge spots. Here is one of the men in my life. The verdict is still out on who is cuter.

That was a little tummy-time and I want to cry because my little man has totally outgrown that sleeper. How is he getting so big so fast?! Saylor loves being a big sister. I don't think she has played with a toy in Sawyer's 10 weeks of life. Who wants a doll when you have the real thing?

I can tell he is going to be a genius because he is already pondering life's mysteries. Here he is post-bath.

I don't really know if he looks like me, but I am willing to take credit. Thanks to Dora and Naomi for this adorable onesie.

Snow gave him an amazing blessing at 8 weeks. We were lucky enough to have about 35 family members present. Thanks to all of you for making the day so special! Jan and I were cheap enough to give $2 Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point a try. NEVER AGAIN! but at least Saylor and Gabby had fun!

Here is a picture of Sawyer at his 2 month check-up. This, of course, is before his immunizations. We learned that he is in the 95% for length and 85% for weight. Apparently this go round I am producing whole milk instead of skim!

Saylor's second year of soccer has started. She convinced the other 7 kids on her team to go with the name sharks again. She is much improved in fact she scored a goal at their first game and yes I had tears in my eyes.

Here is a picture of Saylor and I that we took just because.

This is Saylor holding Sawyer this last weekend. I know what you are thinking and yes I do believe he is about as big as her.

It has been pretty crazy so far but I am loving being a mom of two!
